Article Comments for Mega Man 10 DLC Goes Online
by Colin Moriarty
Summary: The month of March brought us Mega Man 10, one of the year's best games so far (you can read our full review on the game itself by clicking here). And now that we're in April, the downloadable content for the beloved 8-bit throwback will begin to flow out to consumers. Today on WiiWare (and later in the week on PSN and Xbox Live), the first batch of DLC can be purchased. Not only can you now play as the evil and devious Dr. Wily-created robot named Bass (last seen in the 16-bit titles Mega Man 7 and Mega Man and Bass), but we also now have access to the first of three "Special Stages" that can be played exclusively in Time Attack mode. Wizardry Online: Why am I doing this to myself?
- date: December 30, 2012
I'm going to try to give a decent write up about the game but it's going to be minimal effort in regards to pictures and the like. I'm just going to share my experiences with the Closed Beta, so my information is going to be out of date a bit.
Launch looks to be the 30th of January. (It's been pushed back.)
What is Wizardry Online
It's a MMO based on the wizardry line of games. Pretty exciting right?
Does it feel like Wizardry
Actually, yes. Kind of anyway. About as successful as you can be with an MMO in my opinion.
What's the sell here?
Permadeath and fairly unforgiving dungeons.
Yes. Characters go bye-bye.
A few things of note before we get into the specifics of the game. I have an extremely limited brain space and may call priests clerics, thiefs rogues, and will use Soul and account interchangeably. I'll be wrong for doing so but suck it up.
Here's a decent starting thing, I'm going to try to b
LOTR Online or Age of Conan
- date: June 4, 2008
I went through a lot of research on what would be the best MMORPG to spend time playing on my free time.
Eventually, I got down to 2 , which was LOTR Online or Age of Conan. I would've wrestled between the 2, if Age of Conan didnt have max requirements that my system didnt meet.
But LOTR Online looks like a great MMORPG, and I am not so picky about new gameplay features. Its got to be one of the most artistically beautiful MMORPG games between WOW and AOC, of which either I never played. WOW seems to be very popular, maybe a bit too popular. But I would choose the epic story of LOTR, over WOW or AOC. I think LOTR has one of the best fantasy storylines of all Fantasy history.
Violent Games Can Enable Wouldbe Mass Murderers, Says CA Senator
- date: April 11, 2013
Democratic senator Dianne Feinstein says violent games can serve as "simulators" for would-be killers.
Democratic California Senator Dianne Feinstein has again spoken out against violent video games. Today on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Feinstein said these games can be enablers for would-be mass murderers.
"I think the really violent video game becomes a kind of simulator to practice on. And it enables the individual to become much more familiar with that depiction of death and blood," Feinstein said, referencing the exaggerated way in which some games depict violence and death.
"Of course it's not the way it is in real life," she added.
During an event last week, Feinstein said violent games play a "very negative role for young people." She said if the game industry continues to make games that glorify guns, Congress may intervene.
Feinstein's recent comments follow December's schoolhouse massacre in Connecticut where a 20-year-old killed 20 c
Ultima Online Forever: Yes, We Are Still Playing This Game
- date: April 18, 2013
What is Ultima Online?
Ultima Online (UO) is a graphical massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), released on 24 September 1997, by Origin Systems. It was instrumental to the development of the genre, and is still running today. The game is played online, in a fantasy setting similar to that of the other Ultima games that preceded it.
Pretty much it's an old game we played when we were 12 on Friday nights using AOL. One of the first MMOs, if you will. At some point around 1999 (trammel) and then 2003 or so (skill scrolls) Origin released a ton of drastic changes which made the game poo poo and everyone quit. A lot of us can't get enough of this game and have played on a lot of free servers over the past 10 years that retain the old features. So far this seems to be the only server that has actually done things right and given us that old UO feel. The main selling points of this game are skills instead of levels. 700 points total with 100 points being the max per

LegalZoom is ripping me off!? Tell me about online only business.
- date: February 13, 2013
Ok as you may or may not know, I am the wallet goon. I sell wallets on SA and on my site philswallets.com . In a recent effort to legitimize myself I purchased an LLC. I do sell physical products in and out of the U.S. The LLC seemed like what I needed but since buying it I have been getting calls left and right from legal zoom representatives telling me that was only the first step. They say I will also need a business license, and a few others. The thing is that when I did the research of the business license on my own, there was a whole bunch of information about the place I do business, almost as if I would be having customers inside.
I live in FL. I am 23 and stay/ pay rent at my girlfriends mothers house. (Her mother lives with her boyfriend somewhere else so we watch the house.) I technically still live at my mothers address as it is on my taxes and license (she does not claim me on taxes though.) I can make the wallets just about anywhere, hell I could go to the beach and m
Children's Card Games go online in YuGiOh: The Falsebound Kingdom!
- date: May 3, 2013
Released exclusively for the Gamecube in November 2003, The Falsebound Kingdom is one of the more experimental games in the franchise. While previous games like Dark Duel Stories and Forbidden Memories played around with the rules within the card game framework, FBK decided that no, what the franchise really needed was an RTS with a healthy side helping of RPG. It didn't prove to be the wisest of decisions. The RPG combat is slow and samey until it's completely broken in your favor, the RTS stuff is extremely boring, and god help you if you're a completionist because you're looking at no less than six complete playthroughs before you get everything this game has to offer. Unsurprisingly, reviewers weren't exactly enthusiastic about the title, and it's sitting at a 44 on Metacritic.
So why this supposedly terrible game? Because I love it. Partly because 12-year-old me was stuck with just a Gamecube and only had a couple friends to play the card game with, but looking back

Lord of the Rings Online Where warhorses wear ice skates

The Lord of the Rings Online
Official Site: http://www.lotro.com/
The Lord of The Rings Online (LOTRO) is a formerly paid and now (mostly) Free to Play MMO set in the world of Middle Earth, developed by Turbine Inc (Dungeons and Dragons Online, Asheron's Call). LOTRO is a full featured MMO, not the barebones experence you'd expect from other F2P MMO's.
The game is VERY newbie friendly, with recently revamped starting areas and tutorials, yet progresses to some very challenging endgame content.
Goons are playing on the Silverlode server as The Nazgun.
There are some others on Brandywine, message Ocias or Canabinol.
There is also a presence on Landroval
Kin Rules copied from nazgun forums:
