Condemned: Criminal Origins
- date: February 11, 2012
Other than this game, what are some other good horror games for the PC? Or that are available for windows? Actually I would just like opinions on horror in general, such as western vs Japanese horror and what not
I have always loved detective/ serial killer inspired fiction and also like horror that messes with you psychologically rather than going for simply gore or pop out at you scares
what games have a polished atmosphere that will make me uneasy?
Like I want to be horrified, but I haven't been absolutely scared by a video game before
I just really enjoy the premise and production of Condemned and it's subject matter has always interested me, also it's the last great IP imo to come from SEGA whom I've always loved, and it took a more realistic aproach to fireamrs where you couldn't simply blast through a level, made me feel weak and just gritty
I also deeply enjoy the more odd narratives to video games, like ones that are confusing or make you think, such as Killer7, Metal Gear
ACLU launching nationwide investigation of police militarization
- date: March 6, 2013
American neighborhoods are increasingly being policed by cops armed with the weapons and tactics of war. Federal funding in the billions of dollars has allowed state and local police departments to gain access to weapons and tactics created for overseas combat theaters – and yet very little is known about exactly how many police departments have military weapons and training, how militarized the police have become, and how extensively federal money is incentivizing this trend. It’s time to understand the true scope of the militarization of policing in America and the impact it is having in our neighborhoods. On March 6th, ACLU affiliates in 23 states filed over 255 public records requests with law enforcement agencies and National Guard offices to determine the extent to which federal funding and support has fueled the militarization of state and local police departments. Stay tuned as this project develops.

With all of the beta's going around for APB, a group of members from B-Team Gaming decided to throw together a community site for APB.
Track us in steam group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/APB-D
Who we are
We are a Criminal based clan within APB. You must be a criminal in-game to join. We will look into expanding into hosting an enforcer clan post release.
Why are we here?
The basic gist of having the clan and the website is to build a community around APB (All Points Bulletin), and then build smaller community's within that, using teams. The End Goal being, that individual's can come create their own teams within our clan, and benefit from the same league rewards, and help from experienced members, while still having either a small group of friends together, or a larger community within the site. When you create a team, you get a team homepage, and a team forum. Once your team is created you can have more of your
Quotes from the Govt. Agents in Boyd's mind?
- date: November 7, 2007
I was wondering if anyone happened to know some of the sayings. I tried going back since I've already beaten that part of the game, but all the secret agents are gone now. All I remember are things like, "My, what a fine pair of hedge-clippers you have there." This may seem like an odd request, but does anyone remember any of the sayings? More specifically, does anyone remember what the agent in one of the houses with the rolling pin said? Stuff about intercourse with their husband, making pies, things like that. I just thought they were really funny and wondered if anyone knew some.
What is the difference between a terrorist and a criminal?
- date: May 1, 2013
Since outposters love semantic games, I thought this would be a good question to pose here
Why are some people labeled as murderers or criminals and other people get the title of terrorist? They seem like the same thing to me, with the only difference being that terrorist sounds scarier and elicits a greater reaction.
If there is no difference, what is the point in labeling someone a terrorist if they're just a murder or a criminal?

I have kicked the everloving shite out of this game 7 times now, but I have yet to find a good way to drive up the "leadership/teamwork" rating. And you have to do that to get the "Don" rating so that you can start the game with everything unlocked.
SO, if any of you kids have found a good way to bring up that particular rating (the other ones are simple... Kill or buy alot) then please share.

I usually never complain about games, besides I refused to believe how bad Ubisoft's "always online" policy is, so I bought "Heroes VI".
I figured a company that's protective of their IP couldn't possibly want to drive paying customers away from them. That wouldn't make any sense.
I was wrong - the DRM Ubisoft forces on us is the most atrocious hassle and punishment imaginable.
You get kicked out mid-game frequently, without further ado, because the Ubisoft servers are apparently an unstable mess and tend to pass out at random.
Yes, even a full 6 months after the game's release date. No saving allowed beforehand - it's straight back to the main menu.
But the icing on the cake is the audacious comment you get: "check your internet connection", when obviously their servers can't be reached, while everything else on the internet still works just fine.
That lame tech implementation is one part I couldn't believe to be true, before I bought the ga
