dead rising 2 off the record coop question
- date: May 6, 2012
Okay, I have the original dead rising 2. my friend has off the record. Is there a way we can still play co-op together? I now there's a download on the PSN for co-op compatibility, but i'm not sure if that's for what I'm look for.
Anyone know if this is possible?

Doom 3's Coop: Split screen or Live Only?
- date: April 1, 2005
Which is it?
I played the game on PC and thought it was only OK. But by all accounts the Xbox version seems to be a more enjoyable experience. And, the inclusion of the classic games is a decent bonus. Damn it. Now I've started thinking about it, which is usually the beginning of the end for my $50.
Found the answer.

Left 4 Dead split screen keyboard and mouse + gampad
- date: January 3, 2013
I want to play Left 4 Dead 2 and other Valve franchises with split screen support using keyboard and mouse and a Logitech F710 gamepad, but I cannot seem to get it working properly. Only get one of the devices working at the time.
Is it possible to assign a device to player? Or who does it work?
Left 4 Dead UI Split Screen Support
- date: October 14, 2009
Would it be possible to incorporate a true, more easily setup split screen into Left 4 Dead? I was thinking something similar to the way it was used in Watchmen: The End is Nigh. One player could use keyboard, the other could use a 360 control, or any other combination of the like. Left 4 Dead did not allow this, and a lot of control configuration was somewhat complicated and overall not user friendly at all. Splitscreen is also a command through the console instead of a configurable option under video or gameplay. I was just wondering if one of those things if not all of it was possible to add to Left 4 Dead / Left 4 Dead 2. It would make it that much better to play with my friends! Thanks!
Split Screen PeTI COOP on mac with PS3 controller
- date: August 26, 2012
I've spent hours googling and trying stuff out. I'm currently stuck but I'll share what I have so far and maybe a kind soul can point me in the right direction.
So I hope everyone knows you can play split screen on mac or pc by doing a simple 'ss_map workshop/<some random number>/user_made_map_name' in the console. I made it past that simple part.
Now I just want to get a PS3 controller that I have connected via Bluetooth to work as player 1 or 2. Just working would be nice. I have 2 controllers and I noticed a cmd2 command to help out later for player 2.
I noticed that doing 'bind "JOY1" +jump' got select working as a jump button. Through about an hour of testing I was able to work out what joy buttons map where on the controller:
