Summary: Atari Greatest Hits Volume 1 definitely hits a few right notes for a collection of games that, admittedly, don't hold up 30 years later. First, it's the apology for the truly embarrassing Retro Atari Classics compilation released on the Nintendo DS – looking back at that disaster of a retro remake I was far kinder than I should have been. Atari Greatest Hits features spot-on emulations of nine arcade games and more than 40 Atari 2600 console games, all of which remain untouched with same sound, control and gameplay that they're known for. Even games that used spinner or trackball control come off well through touch-screen support that's a far better compromise than the way they've been handled on other consoles. Read Full Article

by Greg Miller
Summary: Trying to translate a popular Internet title into a popular console title is a pretty tough gig. If a game's made a name for itself as a free program online and wants to come to your PlayStation2, it should have a wealth or extras, improvements and more to justify you plunking down your dollars to play it. Basically, the console game has to be light years ahead of its online counterpart. Read Full Article
Songs for GH Greatest hits Thread
- date: February 11, 2009
Hopefully they'll all be masters, that would be sweet!!! Anyways this is what I think should make it. 90 songs total. I think thats what every GH game should have at least. 45 in GH Metallica is a joke and a insult to fans. Metallica or not, thats just not neare enough songs. If they put less than 50 songs,I'm not buying it and if its NOT compatible with GHWT then I'm definately not buying it. I'm tired of all these disc!!!!!!!!!

Psylocke vs Beast
Beast and Psylocke both arrive at the danger room for their battle. Beast starts off quickly by dodging Psylocke's dagger. He flips over her head and kicks her in the spine. As Psylock falls to the ground, Beast grabs her by the hair and flings her up against the wall. Followed by a flurry of kicks and two-handed clubs to the face, Psylocke is in critical condition. Beast then goes in for the kill, but he can't pull himself to do it. He cannot and will not kill a fellow X-Man. He walks away from the battle, feeling that enough damage has been done. An hour later, Psylocke finds Beast in the lab. She stealthily walks up behind him and severs his spinal chord with her Psychic Dagger. She then delivers the final blow by decapitating him.

The Blair Witch Project Volume 1: Rustin Parr. Is it any good?
- date: October 3, 2000
Sorry for asking this but I couldnt find a review for it anywhere else so I thought I'd ask you. I am a BIG fan of the movie/mytholgy and I was wondering if this game was good. I know some people will say something like: "It's the Blair Witch Project so of course it's not good." or something like that. But try to base your opinion on it as a game and forget the movie and give it a chance. I've played the "demo" and liked it (big though) and I'm very excited about this game. So how is it?
By the way. I'm very tired, bored, hot (damn heat) and I have the flu so if what I said above doesnt make sence sorry.

Mine would be:

2. Sisters of Mercy - Floodland
3. Ministry - With Sympathy
4. Depeche Mode - Black Celebration
5. The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
6. Led Zeppelin - 4/ZoSo/Untitled
A thread for Cubs...the idea of a "Greatest Hits" by The Game

So which 12 songs make the cut and what bonus song would you like to see?
Obviously, by bonus I'd mean what sort of a song would you like to see from him. Something going back to his "gangsta" roots? A retrospective song? An emotional one? A club song etc.
So which 16 songs make the cut (obviously, you'd have to add some album songs, but be aware that you'd also have to have it be "listenable" in the flow of this compilation..if possible).
Just something I thought of on the way home from work. Anyone can participate.

Nintendo GameCube Hits No. 1; Combines with Game Boy Advance to Sell More Than 1 Million Systems During Thanksgiving Week

REDMOND, Wash., Dec 2, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- After rocketing up the charts the past several weeks, the Nintendo GameCube(TM) has now reached No. 1 -- it's America's top-selling home video game console, according to direct sales data from the nation's leading retailers.
Nintendo GameCube sold more than half a million systems to consumers during Thanksgiving week, easily surpassing its console competitors. Among all game devices, it trailed only Nintendo's portable Game Boy(R) Advance, which sold almost 600,000 units to U.S. buyers during the week.
"All along, our business plan for this year was to maximize consumer interest and sales during the fourth quarter," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "But frankly, we're overwhelmed by how successful w
