Article Comments for Atari Greatest Hits Volume 1 Review
by Craig Harris
Summary: Atari Greatest Hits Volume 1 definitely hits a few right notes for a collection of games that, admittedly, don't hold up 30 years later. First, it's the apology for the truly embarrassing Retro Atari Classics compilation released on the Nintendo DS – looking back at that disaster of a retro remake I was far kinder than I should have been. Atari Greatest Hits features spot-on emulations of nine arcade games and more than 40 Atari 2600 console games, all of which remain untouched with same sound, control and gameplay that they're known for. Even games that used spinner or trackball control come off well through touch-screen support that's a far better compromise than the way they've been handled on other consoles. Read Full Article
Songs for GH Greatest hits Thread
- date: February 11, 2009
Hopefully they'll all be masters, that would be sweet!!! Anyways this is what I think should make it. 90 songs total. I think thats what every GH game should have at least. 45 in GH Metallica is a joke and a insult to fans. Metallica or not, thats just not neare enough songs. If they put less than 50 songs,I'm not buying it and if its NOT compatible with GHWT then I'm definately not buying it. I'm tired of all these disc!!!!!!!!!

Perfect Albums (No Greatest Hits/Best Of/Compilations)
- date: May 11, 2002
Just wondering what albums you consider to be perfect albums, meaning every song is good or an album that you could not live without.
Mine would be:
1. NIN - Pretty Hate Machine
2. Sisters of Mercy - Floodland
3. Ministry - With Sympathy
4. Depeche Mode - Black Celebration
5. The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
6. Led Zeppelin - 4/ZoSo/Untitled
A thread for Cubs...the idea of a "Greatest Hits" by The Game
- date: January 4, 2013
So which 12 songs make the cut and what bonus song would you like to see?
Obviously, by bonus I'd mean what sort of a song would you like to see from him. Something going back to his "gangsta" roots? A retrospective song? An emotional one? A club song etc.
So which 16 songs make the cut (obviously, you'd have to add some album songs, but be aware that you'd also have to have it be "listenable" in the flow of this compilation..if possible).
Just something I thought of on the way home from work. Anyone can participate.

Disney's Greatest Hits (CDs)
- date: September 23, 2005
How many of you have the Disney Greatest Hits CDs? I was wondering what you thought of them. I actually bought the "newer" volumes 1-3 and also bought the Australian import box set. I don't think I have to explain why on this board.
Anyway, I've listened to many in the box set, and I get the feeling that many of the songs are "studio" versions. They sound a bit too clean to be pulled straight from video. Not that this is a bad thing, but I wondered if anyone knew for sure. If I'm right, do you think they used these "versions" for the films and mixed them in, or used them solely for album soundtracks?
The comments/reviews on amazon.com tend to go back and forth whether these are from the videos or not. I've even seen some reader reviews on amazon claiming the voices are not the original actors/singers, but it's obvious they are.
And while we're at it, why don't you list your favorite song(s). Everyone loves lists!
Your favorite band's greatest hits.
- date: January 27, 2011
Being a metal fan many of our favorite bands will never get a greatest hits. This is for good reason because greatest hits usually miss some hits, and for the most part are pointless because you miss out on the other songs that aren't hits that would be on other albums.
Well let's just ignore all of that and right the wrongs of the past. So in this thread let's assemble a greatest song list for the band of your choice.
This thread has fail written all over it but for those that are interested at least you'll get an interesting playlist to listen after all is said and done.
There are a couple of rules.
1. The greatest hit's compilation can only be one disc. Why? Because limitations are cool
2. The CD must be under 80 minutes (since that is the maximum length a compact disc can hold)
I chose Dark Tranquillity. I spent a couple of days working out the kinks but I thought this greatest hits was pretty good

Article Comments for PopCap Hits Vol. 1 Review
by Greg Miller
Summary: Trying to translate a popular Internet title into a popular console title is a pretty tough gig. If a game's made a name for itself as a free program online and wants to come to your PlayStation2, it should have a wealth or extras, improvements and more to justify you plunking down your dollars to play it. Basically, the console game has to be light years ahead of its online counterpart. Read Full Article
